Boney Burbs is the Drop for High Elim Wins

It’s just a few days after Season 6 launched and since Fortnite has taken away my beloved Hunter’s Haven, I had to find a new primary drop spot. Boney Burbs is a new POI this season and replaces Salty Towers aka Salty Springs aka Tilted Towers . On Day 1 of this season, I thought high-elim games were a thing of the past because of the new loot pool, but I’m happy to say I was completely wrong!

In this match, I dropped into Boney Burbs, still very much learning the POI, and courtesy of a favorable zone, I dropped 12 elims before even having to leave. Some of these eliminations were definitely AI, but others were very sweaty players that I definitely danced on. (Don’t hold it against me!) Finally, zone made me follow the river North of Risky Reels where I took height and tried to play passively shooting from distance. Zone forced the last opponent to head towards me, so I kept using my Shockwave Bow to try and keep him in storm as much as possible. Once he finally made it close, I dropped in to aggro him while still being able to shockwave back up to height. As he pushed up to me, my opportunity came and a couple of good pump shots sealed the deal.
