Read the Fortnite Manual (RTFM) for Season 7

Fortnite Season 7 is here and it’s the BIGGEST change they’ve ever done between seasons! You may have watched other update videos, but they haven’t covered anywhere near the amount of changes you’ll hear about in this video. I tell you all about the UFOs, the running loot llamas, the cosmic chests, the IO battle stations, alien weapons, IO weapons, crafting changes, and the stuff they brought back like vending machines, upgrade benches and launch pads! I promise you won’t be able to turn it off until you’ve watched the whole video through!

Here’s what we cover exactly:

  • POI names are Purple
  • UFOs can now abduct you and carry you around the map
  • You can drive the UFO and fire energy balls!
  • You can abduct things like boulders, players, and even wildlife
  • Be careful, you still take fall damage if you hop out though
  • IO has setup battle stations all over the island that have turrets, supply chests and fast, cool looking IO cars
  • IO has a primary base at Corny Complex, which has taken place of Frenzy Farms aka The Colliseum aka Colossal Crops, where you’ll find Doctor Slone as a boss and you can get her Slone’s Pulse Rifle
  • They brought back vending machines as mending machines, weapon-o-matics, and malfunctioned vending machines
  • They brought back upgrade benches
  • Most importantly, THEY BROUGHT BACK bolt-action snipers!
  • Loot Llamas now RUN from you
  • Bunker Chests are gone, but Cosmic Chests have been brought by the aliens, however they require your whole party to open them
  • You can gather alien artifacts from the Cosmic Chests or at various alien-infected spots on the map, which is how you customize Kymera
  • Crafting is still in the game, but it’s much simpler. There are just nuts & bolts and they sidegrade your weapons
  • They’ve finally made it possible to cancel shakedowns!
  • They’ve added payphones so you have more places to get quests for bars
  • Sweaty Sands has been replaced by Believers Beach and has pre-placed Crash Pads
  • The aliens have brought Kymera’s Ray Gun
  • The IO have brought us the Recon Scanner, the Pulse Rifle and most impressively, the Rail Gun, which can shoot through builds!
